Having completed her secondary education at North London Collegiate School and her law degree at University College London, Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1984.

Specialising in the area of family law, she has developed a broad based family practice, covering all areas under the family law umbrella - whether working with married or unmarried families or same sex couples - from divorce and financial issues, including pre and post nuptial agreements, to domestic violence and children disputes.

In addition to conducting a traditional family practice, Elizabeth is an experienced dispute resolution practitioner, committed to exploring options for resolving disputes constructively. Having trained with Resolution, she practices both as a Mediator and a Collaborative lawyer.

Elizabeth is an Accredited Mediator with the Family Mediation Council (FMC), qualified to conduct MIAMs (Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings). In her work as a Mediator she is qualified to work directly with children, as a Child Inclusive Mediation practitioner. She also offers Hybrid Mediation as an option within her Mediation practice. Additionally she acts as a Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) to other mediators.

She is an active member of the Family Dispute Solutions group www.familydisputesolutions.co.uk.

Elizabeth is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). She is an assessor for the Resolution Accreditation Scheme and sits on the Resolution Domestic Abuse Committee.

Beyond her life with LMK Law, Elizabeth has a deep love of theatre, and has been involved with an established amateur theatre company, the Tower Theatre, for many years, creatively as a director of plays, and also in technical and administrative capacities. She also enjoys film, travel, walking, and literature.
